Song of the Month
(Hopefully) something new for you to check out
"Gonna Get Along Without You Now" by She & Him
She & Him are the distinctively voiced Zooey Deschanel and guitarist M. Ward. Together they make some cool retro-pop and this one is my current favorite.

Featured Artist: Frank Sinatra
A few tracks from one of my all-time faves
Sorry Harry Connick and Michael Buble, but nobody does it like Old Blue Eyes. Sinatra is the king of the crooners because of the great vocal stylings he provides over fantastic songs and arrangements. Check out my (tough-to-narrow-down) list of the Top 10 Frank Sinatra Songs and let me know what you think of my selections of his best.

The Gem
A lesser-known song that deserves more attention
"The Boy Who Never" by Landon Pigg
This 2009 release is a recent discovery thanks to a free download via a box of granola bars. With deep lyrics and a lush arrangement, it's a perfect song for just chilling.

Folk Fascination
Good old fashioned music with acoustic instruments
"Rocky Mountain High" by John Denver
I know it's about Colorado, but this song makes you want to run outside, take a deep breath, smile, and be thankful to be alive no matter where you are. I'd say that's a pretty good song.

A Cappella
Unaccompanied Treasures
"Vehicle" by The Tufts Beelzebubs
I love the original Ides of March song, but this rendition by The Sing Off finalists might be even more fun.

Grab Bag
Something Unique to Send You on Your Way
"Rhythm of the Night" by DeBarge
Yes, this is a totally 80's selection, but I totally still like it. In fact, it's fun to listen to all my old favorites from El and the boys including "Love Me In a Special Way", "Who's Holding Donna Now?", "The Heart Is Not So Smart", and (of course) "Who's Johnny?" from the E.T. knockoff Short Circuit.
