The JayTunes Jam

From my first days when my parents played “Whipped Cream and Other Delights” by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, I’ve always enjoyed instrumental songs.  Obviously there have been some great compositions for TV shows and movies, but I’m mostly talking about pop music.  You might be a big fan of “The Hustle”, “A Fifth of Beethoven”, “Miserlou”, or “Rock n’ Roll Part II”, but none of them made my Top 10 Instrumental Songs list.  Of course Herb made it along with fellow trumpeter Al Hirt, but you may be surprised to find Quincy Jones and The Allman brothers on the list.  How many of the songs do you know?
