The JayTunes Jam

I remember seeing the video for “Don’t Let’s Start” in the early days of MTV and thinking “these guys are weird… but I like it.”  I proceeded to buy their first three albums and they became one of my favorite bands during my college years.  As the years went by, my tastes changed a bit and I forgot about TMBG.  Then in 2003 I came across Gigantic: A Tale of Two Johns, a great documentary about They Might Be Giants, and got excited about some of their newer music.  Recently their focus has been on kids’ music and Disney projects, but I just discovered a fun song called ”The Mesopotamians” (video below) from their most recent non-children’s record.  I hope you like it and I hope that you’ll enjoy my list of the 10 Best They Might Be Giants Songs.
