The JayTunes Jam

I hate to think I’m losing touch with mainstream music, but I really don’t care about most of the Grammy nominees this year.  That being said, here are the artists I’m rooting for:

• Beyonce in Record, Album, Song, Female Pop Performance, Female R & B, R & B Song, R & B Album
• Jason Mraz for Male Pop and Pop Collaboration (”Make It Mine” and “Lucky”)
• Green Day in Rock Album, Rock Performance, Rock Song (”21 Guns”)
• Lady Antebellum in Country Performace and Country Song (”I Run to You“)
• Steve Martin and Rhonda Vincent for Bluegrass Album
• Michael Giacchino for the Star Trek and Up Soundtracks
• Imogen Heap for Instrumental Performance and Engineered Album

That’s about it.  I had a lot more favorites last year,  but I guess that’s just the way it goes.  How did Ingrid Michaelson and Owl City not get nominated?
