The JayTunes Jam

It stands for “Fascinating New Thing” and it’s probably my favorite song by this Minneapolis-based band most recognized for their 1998 single “Closing Time.”  The band’s creative force, Dan Wilson, also has enjoyed success with a recently-released solo album, as a Grammy-winner songwriter for the Dixie Chicks, as a member of Trip Shakespeare, and as a producer/songwriter for Mike Doughty.  Check out my Top 10 Semisonic/Dan Wilson Songs list and let me know what you think.
